MINORITY ENTREPRENEURS TRAINING ASSOCIATION, INC.

Founded in 1998, by Marcia Fountain, President & CEO, the organization was formerly, known as the Minority Entrepreneurs Network Association, a non-profit, tax exempt membership organization with a mission to promote and develop entrepreneurship and economic development for minorities in the State of Connecticut. The Minority Entrepreneurs Training Association is a State of CT Certified Black American Woman Owned Small/Minority Business Enterprise.

Due to the fact, that our organization's membership desired assistance with not just networking and basic business setup assistance, we expanded our services to provide diverse business seminars. These seminars range from how to form a business, marketing and branding, networking and resource development, etc. You not only have access to a great network of entrepreneurs, but you also have access to experienced mentors. Therefore, the organization became organized as the Minority Entrepreneurs Training Association, Inc.

We have also expanded services to our membership through our collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Foundation. Members of META receive access to resource information on funding, business competitions, entrepreneur conferences and many other opportunities that will assist with growing both your business and you as a business owner.
